I had to share this recipe! It was an afternoon snack for me and Mya while the other two were napping. So good and easy!
Cinnamon Bun Smoothie (taken from Everyday Happy Herbivore)
1 frozen banana
1 c nondairy milk
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pure maple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a blender and whiz until smooth. Add more nondairy milk as necessary.
So I finally tried this recipe...well, sort of. I was craving chocolate so I decided to improvise. I used 2 frozen bananas, 1 avocado, the rest of the ingredients listed above, plus one heaping teaspoon of cocoa powder (I don't think I added a whole cup of almond milk either, but I was guestimating, so...). It was delish! What a wonderful little treat!
